Catalog description

An intermediate course in electronic music production and arranging. Students will develop skills working within a digital audio workstation emphasizing hands-on work with MIDI workflows, analog and digital synthesis, beat-making, and sequencing. Students will engage with essential hardware and software tools to develop skills in creating, editing, and mixing, and arranging electronic music. Prerequisites and Corequisites Prerequisites: MUS 250 - Introduction to Music Technology and MCOM 221 - Audio Production (C) Note New course as of Fall 2026.
