Theory and clinical internship experience focusing on laboratory practice in hematology and hemostasis with emphasis on the physiologic mechanisms including the formation, function, and identification of cellular elements within the blood, indicators of hematological disease, quality assurance and instrumentation utilized in clinical hematology and coagulation laboratories.
