This course emphasizes the importance of understanding what is needed to effectively care for individuals and meet their specific needs. It equips students with essential strategies that acknowledge and respect the differences present both between and within cultures. Focusing on health literacy, the course explores how to assist people in obtaining, processing, and understanding health information, enabling informed health decisions and positively impacting health outcomes.
