Catalog description

This course involves the study of functional or physiologic changes in the body that result from disease processes. Basic concepts and processes in pathophysiology are presented. Students will learn about specific disorders (or disease states) including etiology, signs and symptoms, and treatment. This course provides a foundation and resource for students in a variety of healthcare professional programs. Prerequisites and Corequisites Prerequisite: HSC 280 / HSC 280L or PHGY 220 / PHGY 220L and PHGY 230 / PHGY 230L
