Catalog description
Security Analysis is a thorough study of portfolio management for individual as well as institutional investors and includes both equity and fixed income analysis. Security valuation and analysis are discussed as well as the topics of asset allocation, efficient diversification, portfolio theory and construction, investment policy, and performance evaluation. The vital roles of computer technology and electronic trading are also explored. Prerequisites and Corequisites Course prerequisite: BADM 411 or FIN 411 - Investments (C) Note (C) denotes common course
