Catalog description

International Macroeconomics covers models of international macroeconomics and exchange rates. Students will analyze the implications of international macroeconomic policy on the well-being of the global economy as well as the economies of individual countries including such variables as GDP, unemployment, the trade balance and inflation. Prerequisites and Corequisites Prerequisites: ECON 201 - Principles of Microeconomics (C) [SGR #3, HSDC] and ECON 202 - Principles of Macroeconomics (C) [SGR #3, HSDC] or ECON 580 (Foundations of Economics) or equivalent. May be waived with instructor permission. Note Dual listed ECON 545
