Public Finance focuses on the role of the public sector in the United States economy. It uses economic analysis to examine when government intervention in a market economy might be justified and to evaluate public spending and taxes. Prerequisites and Corequisites Course prerequisites: ECON 201 - Principles of Microeconomics (C) [SGR #3, HSDC] and ECON 202 - Principles of Macroeconomics (C) [SGR #3, HSDC] Note (C) denotes common course
