Catalog description
Economics of State and Local Governments involves a study of the problems and policies of raising and spending revenue by sub-national governments. The scope is broad enough to include not only the tax sources of states, counties, municipalities, and school districts but borrowing and grants-in-aid as well. In addition, the major expenditures of these governments are analyzed. Prerequisites and Corequisites Course prerequisites: ECON 201 - Principles of Microeconomics (C) [SGR #3, HSDC] and ECON 202 - Principles of Macroeconomics (C) [SGR #3, HSDC]
