Catalog description
This course studies the movement of goods in the supply chain and includes analysis of the transportation system, sourcing, importing raw materials or components, exporting, and delivering finished goods. In addition, this course evaluates physical transportation systems, cost controls, international regulations, and inventory policy models. Prerequisites and Corequisites Prerequisites: BADM 321 - Business Statistics II (C) and MATH 121 - Survey of Calculus (C) [SGR #5, HSDC] or MATH 123 - Calculus I (C) [SGR #5, HSDC] I or BADM 501-Business Essentials I Note Dual-listed with DSCI 546. Students may not take both DSCI 446 and DSCI 546 for program requirements.
