Database Management for Business Professionals is a laboratory-oriented course to help managers understand how to take advantage of data and database systems in the context of a competitive business environment. The course covers topics such as SQL queries including sub-queries, complex table joins, and pattern matching. Students will learn to distinguish between the declarative and procedural paradigms in SQL so that relevant, reliable, and comprehensive information in support of critical business decisions can be quickly obtained from databases. Prerequisites and Corequisites Prerequisites: BADM 220 - Business Statistics (C)
