Catalog description

This course involves the development of mathematical models to accurately represent business decision making scenarios and to prescribe optimal decisions or best courses of action. Topics covered include optimization, simulation, waiting line analysis, and decision theory. Prerequisites and Corequisites Prerequisites: MATH 121 - Survey of Calculus (C) [SGR #5, HSDC] Or​ MATH 123 - Calculus I (C) [SGR #5, HSDC] and [ BADM 220 - Business Statistics (C) or MATH/ STAT 281 - Introduction to Statistics (C) [SGR #5, HSDC] ] and [ BADM 321 - Business Statistics II (C) or MATH 481 - Probability and Statistics (C) / STAT 481 - Probability and Statistics ] or equivalent.
