This course examines the design, selection, and use of augmentation and alternative methods of communication; populations for which they are appropriate; and issues related to the assessment and treatment of clients using AAC methods or devices. Prerequisites and Corequisites Pre-requisites: DCOM 212 - Speech, Language, and Hearing Development and DCOM 224 - Speech Anatomy, Physiology and Science
