Catalog description

A course focused on topics in organic chemistry most relevant to the study of biological systems for students in pre-professional programs. Content includes organic nomenclature, functional group identification, reaction chemistry, stereochemistry, and structure/function relationships. CHEM 330 completes the organic sequence, a continuation of organic chemistry applied to biomolecules. Prerequisites and Corequisites Prereq: CHEM 114 - General Chemistry II (C) [SGR #6, HSDC] or CHEM 116 Coreq: CHEM 310L - Fundamental Organic Chemistry Lab
