Catalog description

This course focuses on computer-aided design, modeling, and prototyping in biomedical engineering. Students gain hands-on experience with CAD, finite element modeling, and additive manufacturing techniques used in biomedical applications. Emphasis is placed on designing, analyzing, and fabricating biomedical devices, prosthetics, and patient-specific models while addressing the unique constraints of biological systems and healthcare environments. Prerequisites and Corequisites Pre-req: BME 310 - Biomechanical Engineering OR BME 303 - Introduction to Biomechanics (C) Cross-listed: Dual-listed with BME 511.
