Catalog description

Introduction to the application of signal and image processing methodologies and tools in the field of biomedical engineering. This course includes a hands-on laboratory component, and the students will have opportunity to operate state of the art biomedical imaging systems, such as inverted phase contrast microscopy and confocal laser scanning microscopy. Prerequisites and Corequisites Prerequisites: CSC 170 and CSC 170L and MATH 225 Registration restriction: Junior standing required. Note (C) Denotes a common course with SDSM&T.
