Catalog description

This course will cover the fundamentals of disease ecology by examining how disease can affect the physiology of organisms and how this can in turn alter entire ecosystems. The course will cover all major wildlife diseases with a particular focus on pathogens that can cross-infect humans. Prerequisites and Corequisites Pre-requisites: BIOL 151 - General Biology I (C) [SGR #6, HSDC] with a minimum grade of C and BIOL 153 - General Biology II (C) [SGR #6, HSDC] with a minimum grade of C.
