The introductory course for those majoring in biology and microbiology. Presents the concepts of cell biology, evolution, heredity, molecular genetics and ecology. This course meets System General Education Requirement: SGR #6 This course qualifies for High School Dual Credit: HSDC Prerequisites and Corequisites Course corequisite: BIOL 151L - General Biology I Lab (C) [SGR #6, HSDC] Note (C) denotes common course Course is approved for 3 credit hours with 1 hour lab. Effective Fall 2024, all SDBOR schools will offer the lecture/lab at 3/1 and USD has historically offered 4/0 prior.
