Catalog description

Immersive Design introduces the basic practice, concepts, and issues in immersive media design, such as Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), and Mixed Reality (MR). This course provides a theoretical grounding in which to understand the current landscape of digital media culture, design, and art. The course focuses on contextualizing immersive digital media such as virtual reality, augmented reality, immersive projection, and electronic art installation through reading, writing, and discussion.
