Catalog description

Expands on general ecology and wildlife management principles with a focus on diseases, population dynamics, disease monitoring, and research techniques. Students will critically evaluate wildlife literature and address contemporary issues, integrating biological, ecological, legal, social, and political aspects. Through hands-on labs and fieldwork, students will enhance their ability to synthesize complex concepts, collaborate on research projects, and communicate findings through written and oral assignments. Prerequisites: NRM 230 , NRM 276 , and NRM 311 . Corequisites: WL 425L . Notes: Spring, even years.
