Catalog description

This course studies the trajectories of communities in the US grouped under the collective terms Hispanic/Latinx, such as Mexican Americans, Puerto Ricans, Cuban Americans, and Central Americans, and analyzes them from historical, literary, and cultural perspectives to enhance understanding of these diverse groups who are often perceived as culturally homogenous. Prerequisites: SPAN 330 .
