Spanish for the Health Professions

Catalog description

The course will build on the student’s knowledge of the Spanish language with a specific emphasis on the language a health professional will need when communicating with a patient. Medical terminology, anatomy, personal information and expressions of feelings will be at the core of the course. The course will also address related cultural issues. Prerequisites: SPAN 202 .
