Evaluation of crop species, reproduction in crop plants, use of genetic variability, traits of interest, breeding programs, designs and management. Heritability, plant introduction, vegetative propagation, hands-on lab demonstrations. Prerequisites: ( PS 103 or HO 111 ) and ( BIOL 103 or BIOL 153 or BOT 201 ). Corequisites: PS 383L .
