Turf and Weed Management in Horticulture

Catalog description

Introduction to basic maintenance and culture of turfgrass, and identification and management of common weeds found in horticultural settings (Turf, nursery, food crops, etc.). The use of cultural, biological, chemical and physical methods of turf and weed management will be discussed. Turf and weed identification, control methods, and related activities will be addressed in the laboratory. Prerequisites: HO 111 or PS 103 . Corequisites: PS 210L . Cross-Listed: HO 210 .
