Catalog description
The course emphasizes ideas of computational physics and programming languages and skills for solving problems. Areas of application may include quantum mechanics, atomic physics, nuclear and particle physics, astrophysics, condensed matter physics, nonlinear dynamics and chaos, biophysics, materials science, engineering, and chemistry. Prerequisites: ( PHYS 331 or PHYS 431) and (CSC 115 or CSC 150 or CSC 155 or CSC 170 or INFO 101 ).
