Catalog description

This course introduces human genetics and application of genetic and genomic concepts to nursing practice, health care, and society. The registered nurse student will explore the impact of genetic and genomic science on nursing care of clients and families across the lifespan. Ethical, legal, cultural, social and policy issues related to genetics and genomics will be discussed. Registration Restriction: Admission to the RN to B.S.N. program.
