Catalog description

This course combines classroom and clinical settings to provide an introduction to public health and population-based nursing care. Emphasis is on public health principles and the development and implementation of community interventions to maintain/promote health and prevent disease/injury. Registration Restriction: Admission to the nursing major. Notes: Requires completion of Semester 4 nursing major courses; Must be enrolled in Semester 5 Nursing major.
