Integrated Natural Resource Management

Catalog description

This capstone project-based course requires students to apply their previous knowledge of natural resource management to develop a comprehensive management plan. Students will work in small teams, drawing from a variety of majors to foster integrated problem-solving. Each team will focus on mastering the process of addressing natural resource challenges, considering ecological, social, policy, and economic factors. The course emphasizes the use of inquiry, analytical, integrative, and synthetic skills, as well as the ability to communicate findings effectively through both written and oral presentations. Registration Restriction: Senior standing.
