Catalog description

Study of energy and material flows through the living (plants, animals, microbes) and non-living (soils, atmosphere) components of ecological systems. Discussion of the major element cycles and patterns of energy flow through ecosystems, including how those fluxes and their controls differ for different ecosystems. Linkages between ecosystem structure and function will be emphasized. Prerequisites: ( NRM 282 or STAT 281 ) and NRM 311 . Notes: Spring, even years.
