Catalog description

This course is designed to provide students with a background in the practice, techniques, and theories of newsroom management in a multimedia world. Students further their multimedia storytelling skills through video, audio, online, and interactive journalism applications, study the organization of stories according to news values and the legal and ethical responsibilities of the news producer and reporter. Prerequisites: MCOM 265 or MCOM 331 or MCOM 333 or MCOM 334.
