Catalog description

In this course, prospective teachers examine high school mathematics topics from an advanced point of view. The topics include, but are not limited to: real and complex numbers, functions, equations, mathematical induction, and trigonometry. Required of majors planning to teach. May not be used for upper division math elective for majors not pursuing Secondary Teaching Option. Prerequisites: MATH 253 and EDFN 102 .
