Mathematics for Primary Grades I

Catalog description

An introduction designed for students in the early childhood education program to develop an advanced understanding of the nature of mathematics, with an introduction to geometry concepts, measurement, problem solving, probability, statistics, and other topics. This course does not satisfy the mathematics general education requirement nor any mathematics area requirements other than those for a degree in early childhood education. Prerequisites: MATH 103 or MATH 114 or MATH 115 or MATH 120 or MATH 121 or MATH 123 or MATH 125 or STAT 281 .
