-3 An in-depth analysis of historical and contemporary sites of significance to the discipline of landscape architecture. Emphasis is placed on on-site observational methods, including the use of case-study research and presentations, sketchbook documentation, and personal interviews. Students will also be exposed to the professional practice of landscape architecture abroad. Course involves a 3-week travel experience immediately after spring finals. Prerequisites: LA 242 or instructor consent.
