Catalog description

This course provides an introduction to basic principles and common techniques in satellite remote sensing. Students will gain basic knowledge of how satellite data are collected and processed and be able to do simple analysis for their own research purposes. Emphasis is placed on how to use satellite remote sensing to monitor the changing earth’s surface. Prerequisites: GEOG 280 . Corequisites: GEOG 480L .
