Exercise Test and Prescription (COM)

Catalog description

This course is designed to provide the student with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to assess different areas of physical fitness and prescribe individual exercise programs based on these objective measures. This course will provide hands-on experience in the laboratory to supplement the theoretical classroom discussion in PE 400 and will prepare the student to take entry-level certification such as the American College of Sports Medicine Health and Fitness Instructor Certification. Prerequisites: Completion of or concurrent enrollment in KSM/PE/ EXS 350 . Corequisites: EXS 400L .
