Catalog description
A course to acquaint the student with procedures used to prototype and construct circuits used in electronics manufacturing. Topics include pre-fabrication planning, component specification, printed circuit board layout and production, customer interfacing, assembly and soldering, and final test procedures. State-of-the-art circuit board layout software will be used in the design of an electronics circuit project. Project management techniques introduced. Prerequisites: ET 220 . Corequisites: ET 380L .
