Catalog description

This course explores the unique aspects of guidance techniques for children birth through grade three. Content includes classroom management, organizing the learning environment, family partnerships, creating trauma-sensitive teaching, effective adult/child guidance such as limiting setting and problem-solving, fostering democratic life skills, such as recognizing and regulating emotions, and developing a sense of agency.
