First Year Seminar

Catalog description

First-year seminar course designed to introduce students to academic success strategies including the development of critical thinking and study skills, guidance in academic planning and engagement, time management and goal setting. In addition, this course is designed to expose students to careers in chemistry and their impact in society. Course will take place during the first 8-weeks of the semester. Prerequisites: Only Chemistry, Chemistry Education and Biochemistry majors may register for this course. Notes: Fall.
