Catalog description

Properties of aggregates and asphaltic materials related to asphalt mixes. Various types of asphalt pavements and mix design methods. Plant operations, construction methods and equipment used in the production of asphalt. Asphalt mix design and testing with an emphasis on Superpave mix design method. Introduction to recycling and sustainable asphalt pavement materials. Prerequisites: CEE 216 , CEE 216L , CEE 363 , and EM 321 . Corequisites: CEE 411L .
