Catalog description

The broad field of animal parasitology, including protozoa, helminths, and arthrodpods. Emphasis on identification, life histories, control, and economic and medical importance. Laboratory includes morphology and identification of representative groups of parasites, as well as techniques of diagnosis of parasitic disease. Prerequisites: BIOL 101 or BIOL 151 . Corequisites: BIOL 467L .
