Catalog description

The focus of this course is key elements required for cognitive, social, and interpersonal skills that support safe and efficient flight operations. Theoretical background subjects include team competencies, leadership, workload management, professionalism, decision making, human error mitigation and stress/fatigue management. This course emphasizes the importance of monitoring both automation and the other crewmembers, plus the use of communication skills and processes necessary for safe flight operations. Prerequisites: AVIA 171 .
