Overview of principles of animal nutrition and feeds suitable for livestock and application of these principles in livestock operations. The course is intended for non-Animal Science majors and students with limited livestock production background. AS 218 can not be used as a substitute for AS 219 as a prerequisite for AS 319. Prerequisites: AS 101 or AS 102 or DS 130 or instructor approval. Notes: Spring.
