Catalog description

Measurement systems for strain, flow, pressure, displacement, and temperature as related to measurements for physical and biological systems are introduced with error analysis. The dynamic characteristics of the measurand measurement system explored and the interaction of the dynamic characteristics of the measurand with the measurement system is discussed. Filters, amplifiers, logic circuits, and input circuitry analysis and use are emphasized. Signal conditioning required for digital data acquisition is introduced. Prerequisites: EE 300 .
