Directed Teaching (Music)

Catalog description

A clinical field experience in the public school setting. Note: Prior to enrolling in MUED 477 , students must complete the following: 1) Admission to the Professional Program, and 2) All MUED courses, and conducting courses are required for the student’s specific degree track. Courses must be passed with Grade of “C” or better. Students are strongly encouraged to complete all MUSC courses prior to the student teaching semester for optimum preparation for the pre-service internship. No additional course work may be taken during the Directed Teaching semester without permission of the School of Music Undergraduate Director.
