Exploration of Infectious Diseases

Catalog description

This class goes beyond the classroom to visit sites affected by infectious diseases, like cholera and bubonic plague, in order to put these diseases into context, gaining a deeper understanding of the implications of infectious disease on human health and ethics. This course will experience infectious diseases through the scope of art, literature, and architecture.
