Catalog description

This course is designed to promote an understanding of the structure, analysis, and management of medical records. Emphasis is on managing medical and insurance records, coding of diseases, operations and procedures, and the legal aspects of medical records. Upon completion, the student should be able to maintain medical records efficiently. Prerequisite: None Code: C - Potential Area V transfer courses that are subject to approval by respective receiving institutions.
