Catalog description

Musical Theatre Voice Capstone is an advanced-level course that builds upon the techniques and principals studied in all previous Private voice lesson semesters. This course focuses on the application and integration of vocal techniques in the professional performance of musical theatre songs. CAPP Prerequisites: THEA 248 (Musical Theatre Song Repertoire) and THEA 146 (Class Voice) and THEA 348 (Pop/Rock Song Repertoire) and 3 credits of THEA 246 (Private Musical Theatre Voice) Corequisite: THEA 344 (Auditioning) Students with a semester level of Freshman 1, Freshman 2 or Sophomore 1 may not enroll.
