Catalog description

Movement for the Actor is an advanced-level course designed to facilitate and develop expressive, responsive movement in the stage performer. In addition to learning a battery of stretching and strengthening exercises, the student will explore physical character development through approaches such as Feldenkrais, "authentic movement" and Chekhov Technique. Students with a semester level of Freshman 1 or Freshman 2 may not enroll. Enrollment limited to students in the BA 5 92 or BFA 5390 programs.
