Catalog description

Intermediate Acting Studio is a continuous, lab-based course designed to provide practical application and integration of intermediate-level techniques and skills learned in concurrent sophomore-year acting coursework. Students apply and practice intermediate acting techniques including voice and speech application, physical characterization, dialect work, and advanced scene preparation in a supportive studio environment. The course provides essential scaffolding for skill development and preparation for upper-level coursework and jury assessments. May be repeated for credit up to 2 times. 1 credit CAPP prerequisite: THEA 199 : Beginning Acting Studio (taken twice) OR permission of instructor
