Catalog description

This is a comprehensive course designed to equip actuarial students with the advanced mathematical skills necessary to accurately price and manage complex long-term insurance products like annuities and life insurance policies, focusing on multi-state Markov models, contingent cash flows, and profit testing methodologies, while building upon foundational concepts of actuarial mathematics, probability, and interest theory. Students with a semester level of Freshman 1, Freshman 2 or Sophomore 1 may not enroll.
