Advanced Topics of Loss Models

Catalog description

This course develops advanced topics in actuarial science related to short-term insurance. Topics include severity models, frequency models, aggregate models, coverage modifications, construction and selection of parametric models, credibility, pricing and reserving for short-term insurance coverages. Students with a semester level of Freshman 1, Freshman 2 or Sophomore 1 may not enroll.
